Do you want a little more joy and beauty in your life? Maybe you want to share it with others? Well then, it's time to plan that summer cutting garden. Join us Sat April 5th or Sat April 12th  from 2-4 pm for the 2nd year we offer this exciting spring workshop! We had such a great class the first time around that we just couldn't wait to offer it again!!! The purpose of this workshop is to equip you with all the knowledge you need to grow a summer cutting garden from seed to vase. We will share with you what we do to have months and months of flowers to cut from and  share info about our favorite spring and summer cutflowers. We will share tips to help you have a successful cutting garden and also send home some seeds to get you started for the summer. There may even be a little surprise to take home too.  We will talk about everything from garden bed sizes, light, watering, soil health, when to cut for best vase life, where to cut to encourage more blooms and more.  We will tour the gardens, flower fields, and get a look in the high tunnel- rain or shine so bring your umbrella or a rain coat if it calls for rain.  We will talk useful tools that I use and I'll be glad to answer questions to help you succeed in your own cutting garden.

I will divulge some seed sources you can order from when you don't have a flower farm business. Ask all the questions you want. I want you to feel confident and excited about what you can grow in your own backyard so you can bring some of that joy and excitement inside your home to enjoy as well.

We will also talk about woodies and other perennials that add magic to your landscape and your cut flower bouquets. Bring a pen so you can write down all the info thrown out that day because you won't want to miss it. The workshop will last approximately 2 hours and includes light refreshments. Please choose flower farm pickup for delivery option at checkout.

Invite a friend to sign up with you and you can make a plan to share your flowers with each other this summer. I want to share the joy I get growing these beauties so you can grow some for your own enjoyment. It will be so much fun.
